Frequently asked questions
Do you cover factories outside the main clusters?
Yes. Every factory in India is covered. Outside the cities where our staff inspectors live, a travel band applies; you can check your city on the coverage page.
Can you inspect at several factories in one day?
Sometimes, when the factories are close together and the lots are small. We confirm the number of man-days when you book.
Do your inspectors speak local languages?
Our inspectors work in English and Hindi at the factory and write every report in English.
How does inspecting in India differ from China or Vietnam?
Indian export manufacturing is spread across many small, specialised clusters, much of it hand-made. That means more variation between units, more subcontracting to small workshops, and longer travel between factories, so inspectors based in the clusters matter.
