What is made in Delhi NCR
The National Capital Region spreads across Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Its export factories are spread out too, so an order can involve units in two or three towns. The table lists what official sources name for each part of the region.

The region is also where many of India's home décor and furniture exporters meet buyers. The 62nd IHGF Delhi Fair, run by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida from 13 to 17 October 2026, lists furniture, home décor, lighting, kitchenware and textiles among its 16 product categories. Exhibitors come from across India, so check where your supplier's factory is before you plan an inspection.
For electronics, the Prime Minister said in July 2018 that 50 of India's 120 mobile phone factories were in Noida (PIB). See our Noida page for that part of the region.

Timing and logistics
Our inspectors are based in the region, so Delhi NCR is travel Band B: US$99 per man-day. For factories at the edge of the region we confirm the band when you book. Road traffic decides how much one inspector can cover in a day, so we plan one factory per man-day unless two units are close together.
- Split orders: a garment order may be cut in Gurgaon and embroidered or washed elsewhere. A during-production inspection at the main unit catches problems before goods move on.
- Monsoon: from about July to September, humidity raises the moisture content of wooden furniture and can cause mildew in cartons. We check moisture and storage on the day.
- Festivals: many units slow down around Diwali and Holi, and some workers travel home for longer.
- Loading: where the factory stuffs the container, container loading supervision checks the count, carton condition and seal.
How to book an inspection in Delhi NCR
Send the product, the factory's address and the ready date through the booking form for Delhi NCR. Include the specification, the approved sample photos, label artwork and the destination market.
An inspection costs US$249 per man-day plus the US$99 Band B travel fee; see pricing. Within 24 hours we confirm the inspector, notice and price. The report arrives within 24 hours of the inspection, with a verdict of Cleared to load, Hold or Not cleared.
