What is made in Mysuru
Two geographical indications were registered under the city's older name, Mysore. Only Mysore Silk is current, which matters if the name will appear on your packaging.

Until the registry records a renewal, do not describe incense as a current Mysore Agarbathi GI product. Mysuru is not a DGFT Town of Export Excellence.

Fibre and zari content, colour fastness and fragrance chemistry are lab results. For the EU and UK, check fibre names under EU textile labelling and incense warnings under GPSR. We seal samples through lab testing coordination.

Timing and logistics
We have no inspector based in Karnataka, so an inspector travels in and the travel cost is quoted before you book. Mysuru has road and rail links to Bengaluru, with Channapatna on the way, so silk, incense and toy orders can share one trip.
- Silk: each saree is checked opened out on a table, so a large lot takes time. Tell us the quantity per design to plan the man-days.
- Incense: sticks and dhoop need to be fully dry before packing. From about June to September, ask for moisture checks before cartons are sealed; we take readings on the day.
- Dasara: Mysuru's Dasara festival, in September or October, and Diwali shortly after slow production and travel.
