What each country page covers
- What the country buys from India, with dated trade figures, and which Indian production clusters make those goods.
- The factory-side checks its market drives: label language and artwork, origin marking, carton marks, packaging material data for producer-responsibility schemes, and product rules such as flammability, chemicals or timber legality.
- Timing: how India Standard Time (UTC+5:30, no daylight saving) lines up with your working day, and when reports arrive.
- Booking: which service fits (pre-shipment inspection, during-production inspection, container loading supervision, factory audit), price and notice.
The legal detail stays on the import compliance checklists and the regulation guides; country pages link to them rather than repeat them.
The same inspection, a different checklist
A pre-shipment inspection in Jodhpur follows the same steps whatever the destination: quantity, workmanship against the approved sample, measurements, function, packing and marking, sampled under ISO 2859-1 (see the AQL guide). What changes is the checklist. A cushion going to the UK needs the fire-safety labels its rules ask for; a cabinet going to the USA needs a tip-over warning and formaldehyde labels; a carton going to Quebec needs French alongside English. Telling us the destination when you book is what puts those checks on the list.
Prices are the same for every market: see pricing, or book an inspection.
