Timing and logistics
Ludhiana is not one of our inspector base cities, so inspectors travel from Delhi NCR or Saharanpur, and travel is charged at actual cost. A two-day booking in the city often spreads that cost.
- Knitwear season: winter ranges for Europe and North America are knitted months ahead. Book a during-production inspection on the first pieces off the machines, when measurements and gauge can still be corrected.
- Many suppliers: bicycle and tool exporters often buy parts from several small units. A shipment can mix lots of very different quality, so we sample across every part number.
